CG Finco completes 20 years of operation

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Mar. 29: CG Finco Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of Chaudhary Group and the super-agent of Western Union Money Transfer in Nepal, has completed its 20 years in operation. 

It had started its service from 100 outlets in 2003, and has expanded its remittance services to more than 4,000 agents across the country. 

Chairman of the Company Nirvana Chaudhary attributed the success of the company to its customers. 

"I had launched the company as my first business two decades ago. Now it is one of the best companies bringing in much needed foreign currency. It has become a reliable partner of Nepali migrant workers in foreign countries," he said. 

Stating that the remittance has become the highest contributor to the country's economy, Chaudhary said that CG Finco has also played an important role in minimising illegal money transfer as well. 

On the occasion, the company felicitated its employees Ramesh Regmi, Renu Pradhan, Pratima Sharma Pokharel and Ashish Kumar Hamal for their contribution to the growth and development of the company.
