Modern drama theatre to be built in Dhalkebar

By Our Correspondent,Dhanusa, Mar. 18: A state-of-the-art drama theatre is going to be built in Dhalkebar of Mithila Municipality-8, Dhanusha.

 Mahendra Mahato, the mayor of Mithila Municipality, laid the foundation stone of the drama house on Friday. The drama house is being built with the aim of promoting art and culture. 

While laying the foundation stone, Mayor Mahato urged the construction proponents to complete the construction of the drama house as soon as possible.  He promised to provide all possible support from the municipality to build the theatre house, which will be built in three blocks of land provided by the Mithila Municipality.

 The Rochak and Ghochak Theatre Group, which has gained fame in Madhesh Province, is about to produce the play. Pradeep Mahato, Chairman of The Rochak and Ghochak Theatre Group, said that the theatre house with a capacity of 400 seats will be built at a cost of around Rs. 10 millions.

 He informed that the latest light and sound technologies will be installed in the drama theatre. 

President Mahato said that it will be the biggest drama theatre in Madhesh Pradesh and the construction cost will be collected from the local levels and various donor agencies.
