By Our Correspondent ,Syangja, Mar. 10: Website of the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Syangja Chapter, has been prepared.
FNJ Gandaki Province built the website and handed it over to the FJN Syangja Chapter by organising an orientation programme on information and communication technology for the development of tourism in Kaligandaki Rural Municipality.
According to Gandaki FNJ vice president Deepak Bhattarai, FNJ Syangja was the first to receive the website design among the 11 districts to which it has planned to provide the design.
Khim Bahadur Thapa, chairman of Kaligandaki Rural Municipality, inaugurated the website by pressing the switch.
Thapa said that although the rural municipality has made a leap in the sectors like drinking water, infrastructure, education and health, it was lagging behind in publicity, and they were ready to cooperate with the FNJ to fill up the gap.
In the event, Sabitri Koirala, deputy chair of the rural municipality, said that all works in municipality are carried out in a transparent way, free from any controversy.
Devendra Pandey, Chief Administration Officer of the rural municipality, presented a paper on infrastructure and tourism development in the rural municipality.
Narayan Sharma, president of Gandaki FNJ, secretary Executive Gobinda Subedi and FNJ Syangja Chaper’s acting president Radhakrishna Dumre also spoke on the occasion.
