Govt. works together with private sector: Finance Minister Dr Wagle

Kathmandu, March 31: Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle has vowed transforming the country into a place of people devoted to nation with works for economy.     

Minister Dr Wagle made such resolution during a meeting with the businesspersons associated to Nepal Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday. Government establishes solid partnership with private entities for reinforcement of national economy, he added.     

The private entities would see all necessary facilitation for development and expansion of industries, he said, adding that all sides' cooperation is imperative for nation building. "Let's work together for robust economy. State provides and protects your rights to speed up and expand," Wagle reiterated.     

In order for promotion of industries and entrepreneurship, suggestions would be sought from private sector, he assured. He also sought honest cooperation from the private sector in State's endeavour of economy building.     

The Minister informed that he had expected transparency and accountability of private sector. However, the coordinated and sponsored irregularities would not be spared, he reminded.     

The worry expressed by private entities over Nepal's graduation to Least Developed Country (LDC) and subsequent effects was taken into account, Minister said, assuring the delegation of Nepal Chamber of Commerce that the LDC graduation would not create worrisome state immediately.(RSS)
