Batulo Jun's release date announced

By A Staff Reporter, Kathmandu, Mar. 31: Batulo Jun is set to be released on October 16.  On the occasion of lead actor Anmol KC’s birthday, the production team unveiled the poster and announced the film's release date.

The newly released promotional poster features Anmol and actress Princy Khatiwada. 

With the glowing full moon in the background, the poster shows Anmol carrying a torch that reflects the light of the old era in one hand, while with the other hand he is holding Princy’s foot adorned with a traditional anklet.

While releasing the poster, Anmol said that it as a birthday gift for those who love him and left the message, ‘See you in Dashain.’ 

Expressing gratitude for the love he has received from audiences and well-wishers since the beginning of his career, Anmol said that he is always waiting for applause for good work and warnings for his weaknesses.

Anmol appears in a completely different avatar than in his previous films. The movie is directed by actor Bhuwan KC, who himself also plays a major role in the film.

Along with Bhuwan, Anmol, and Princy, the film also features performances by Nancy Khadka, Prakash Ghimire, Dipak KC, Shweta Mishra, Laxmi Giri, Sharada Giri, Laxminath Timilsina, Shishir Shivakoti, Arpana Ghatani, Bibika Poudel, and Kamal Devkota.

The film has been shot in Kathmandu, Myagdi, Nuwakot, Chitlang, and Pokhara, among other locations. 

Tejbikram KC is the executive producer, while the screenplay is by Samipyaraj Timilsena and Sarin Pokharel.

With Pradeep Shrestha as associate director, the cinematography of the film is by Rajesh Shrestha. Executive producer Tejbikram KC said that around 10 per cent of the filming is still remaining.
