Texas (US), April 29: The Nepali Consulate General in Texas, USA organized a two-day mobile consular camp, providing services to total 272 Nepalis.
The Consulate held the camp for two days- April 27-28. Various sorts of services like renewal of visa, power of attorney, distribution of non-resident Nepalis (NRN) cards were provided in the facility, according to Dhana Joshi, Deputy Consul General.
The facility was managed to provide consular service to Nepalis living in nine states of USA. The Office of Consulate General was established at Dallas, Texas last year.
It is the first such service provided after the establishment of Consulate Office. The service delivery was planned at convenience of the Nepalis living in the USA.
The Nepalis living in Austin area of Texas, a large state in the US, had been demanding consular camp. The Greater Austin Nepali Society extended cooperation to conduct the camp.
Consul General Suresh Adhikari, Deputy Consul General Joshi, Deputy Consul Hari Maya Adhikari and other employees provided the services. The Office of Consulate General extended gratitude to the Nepali community including Greater Austin Nepali Community for making the visa and consular camp successful.(RSS)
