By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Apr. 27: New Diamond Youth Sports Club clinched their fourth successive win to book a place in the women’s final of the 10th PM Cup NVA League.
They sealed their spot with a 25–21, 20–25, 25–18, 25–21 victory over APF Club at the National Sports Council’s covered hall on Tuesday. New Diamond confirmed their title clash ahead of their last league fixture, where they will face Nepal Police Club.
In the day’s opening women’s match, Tribhuvan Army Club registered their first win, sweeping Sudur Paschim Province Volleyball Club in straight sets, 25–15, 25–10, 25–5.
In the men’s competition, Help Nepal Sports Club maintained their perfect record with a fourth consecutive victory, defeating APF Club 25–15, 23–25, 25–13, 25–14. Help Nepal remain unbeaten on 12 points, while APF slumped to a fourth straight defeat.
Elsewhere, Khilji Youth Club secured their first win of the campaign, edging Koshi Province 25–19, 25–20, 26–24 to collect three points from their fifth outing.
