APF rescues man stuck in Prabat cliff

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Feb. 4: A rescue team of the Armed Police Force Nepal Friday rescued a man who was stuck in Badagaun cliff located in Kushma Municipality-5 of Parbat District. Gautam Giri, a 53-year-old resident of Durlungchok in Kushma Municipality 7 of the district, fell off the road while he was walking on Thursday.

After the locals informed about the incident, the APF deployed a rescue team from No. 25 Battalion in the leadership of Inspector Keshav Sharma. The team rescued the man by using a rope. 

Following the rescue, Giri was sent to District Hospital Parbat for treatment and his condition is said to be normal, according to a press statement issued by APF, Halchowk, Kathmandu, on Friday.
