By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Dec. 20: Natikaji Rastriya Samman Tatha Puraskar, which will be presented to the creators who have made special contribution to Nepali songs and music, was announced amid a programme in the capital on Sunday. This was announced on the occasion of the 98th birth anniversary of music maestro Natikaji Shrestha.
Shambhujeet Baskota, president of Natikaji Smriti Samaj, said that honours and awards were being given to connect the music artists of the previous generation and present generation. According to a statement of the society, Natikaji Bishesh Sangeet Samman will be presented to Man Bahadur Mukhiya, Deep Tuladhar, Pradeep Raj Pandey, Phanindra Rai, BK Rana, Kanhaiya Singh Pariyar, Shubha Mukarung and Amar Bantu.
Similarly, Eak Narayan Bhandari, Kali Prasad Baskota, Raj Sigdel and Mandavi Tripathi will be presented Natikaji Rastriya Sangeet Puraskar. Likewise, Natikaji Rastriya Prativa Puraskar will be conferred on Deven Giri, Deepak Sharma, Krishna Kafle and Asmita Adhikari while Chandan Shrestha will be given the Natikaji Rastriya Shastriya Sangeet Puraskar.
Deepak Shrestha, vice president of the organisation, informed that the Natikaji Rastriya Sangeet Samyojan and Badhya Puraskar will be given to Rabin Karki Dhali, and Devi Gharti will be presented Natikaji Rastriya Lok Sangeet Puraskar.
Likewise, journalists Dabbu Kshetri and Kuber Giri will be presented Natikaji Rastriya Kala Patrakarita Puraskar while Ashish Gautam will receive Natikaji Rastriya Nawa Prativa Puraskar, informed Shrestha.
