By Kabiraj Ghimire,Hile, Dec. 5: With the onset of winter, the season of rafting, known as an adventure sport in the water, has begun from Mulghat in Dhankuta to Chatara in Sunsari.

Tamor River, which is considered the third-best rafting destination in Nepal, is regularly rafted from November to June.

This journey of about 34 km is the shortest and most enjoyable in Nepal.

Tourists who come for rafting experience the water adventure. Parshuram Magar of Dharan-16 said that after rafting once, he goes there time and again.

There are two packages of rafting in Tamor from Mulghat to Chatara. Two-day rafting is being conducted by paying Rs. 2,500 per person for one day and Rs. 5,000 for one night. Four companies from Dharan and Itahari are now offering rafting in Tamor.
