The industry is now taking about 4 MW power supply, according to the NEA.
The Authority will provide additional power supply to the industry through a 66 kV transmission line from Parwanipur’s 132 KV substation

The industry has built a 66 kV switchyard on its premises at its own expense. The switchyard was tested and was brought into operation on Thursday in the presence of the Authority's technical team.
Along with this, Jagdamba Enterprises has become the biggest consumer of electricity, said Ramu Shrestha, chief of the Simara distribution centre of the Authority.
"The industry is currently taking a load of 4.8 MVA, the line and transformer tests have been completed to give an additional 44 MVA load, and supply of more electricity has been started gradually according to the approved load," he said.
"If electricity is taken according to the approved load, the industry will pay a tariff exceeding Rs. 200 million monthly."
The NEA has been working to improve the transmission and distribution lines to increase domestic consumption of power and make the supply system reliable.
