Damauli, July 24 : Nepali Congress senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel has said he practiced a politics of mission and was committed to this for the development of the nation.
In his address to a discussion
program organized by the Nepali Congress Byas town committee today, the
leader said the nation's development was the prime agenda of his political career.
As he said, his personal interests
and priorities are nominal in his political life and he will keep himself
dedicated for the cause of the nation for the rest of his life.
He said the use of money to influence elections
was not politics.
"There are no permanent
enemies or friends in politics," he said, adding that people should be
allowed to judge visions of political parties and candidates in the
elections.
He also took time to say that rural-urban
migration is taking place as goals to create jobs and accelerate
income-generating activities in rural areas are yet to be achieved. (RSS)
