Kathmandu, April 11: The Nepal–India University Professors Conference has started from today.
Literary critic Prof Basudev Tripathi inaugurated the conference. During the inaugural session, a comprehensive book titled 'The Role of Nepalese and Indian Universities in the Development of Nepali Language and Literature', edited by Narendra Raj Prasai and Indira Prasai and published by Naiee Academy, was launched.
Member-secretary of Naiee Academy, Narendra Prasai said that the book includes 25 in-depth research articles related to various universities in Nepal and India.
This three-day conference has participation of professors, researchers and intellectuals from various universities in Nepal and India.
The conference is expected to further strengthen international collaboration in the fields of Nepali language, literature and research.(RSS)
