Minister Badu, CM Raut, leaders Bijukchhe, Bhattarai cast votes in local polls

Kathmandu, May 13 (RSS): Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Dilendra Prasad Badu, took part in the voting of the ongoing local level elections from Api Nampa Conservation Area Office (A) polling centre at Mahakali municipality-5 in Darchula district.    


Sudurpashim Province deputy-speaker Nirmala Joshi also voted from the same polling centre.  


Similarly, Madhesh Province Chief Minister Lal Babu Raut exercised his franchise in the local polls kicked off simultaneously across the country at 7:00 am today from the Birgunj metropolis-13. He visited the polling station set up at the Food Management and Trading Company Ltd office to cast his vote.    


On the occasion, the CM described the election as an indispensable part of democracy and urged voters to take part in it confidently.    


Likewise, Nepal Workers and Peasants' Party Chair Narayan Man Bijukchhe voted in the local elections from the Bidhyarthi Niketan Secondary School-based polling centre in Bhaktapur municipality-5.    


Similarly, former Prime Minister and Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal's federal council chair, Dr Baburam Bhattarai, visited the Annapurna Secondary School at Palungtar municipality -1 in Gorkha to cast his ballot for the local elections.
