COVID cases in India cross 4,000-mark; 5 deaths reported in 24 hours
India recorded 4,026 active Covid-19 cases as of Tuesday, an increase of 512 from the previous day, according to data from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Together, these six states account for over 72 per cent of the active caseload in the country. Delhi reported four deaths and Maharashtra two, while Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and West Bengal reported one death each.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has arrived in Narchyang, Annapurna Rural Municipality-4 on Tuesday in connection with attending a programme marking the 75th anniversary of the ascent of Mount Annapurna. The Rural Municipality is organising the event on the occasion. The rural municipality is organising the Diamond Jubilee celebration marking the 75th anniversary of French mountaineer Maurice Herzog's first ascent of the 8,091-metre high Annapurna on June 3, 1950, said Bharat Kumar Pun, the Rural Municipality chairperson.
20 tourist vehicles escorted to destinations from Pokhara

IPL to witness new champion as RCB-PBKS fight for their maiden title in 18 years
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) will lock horns against each other in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 final at the Narendra Modi Stadium here on Tuesday in order to end their title drought in the competition. RCB have qualified for the Indian Premier League final thrice in the past, losing all three times in 2009, 2011 and 2016. PBKS, on the other hand, qualified for the final once in 2014 when they were known as Kings XI Punjab, losing the match to Kolkata Knight Riders.
