PM Oli pays tributes to senior journalist Koirala
rime Minister KP Sharma Oli has paid tributes to former Ambassador and senior journalist Kamal Koirala. PM Oli paid tributes to Koirala at the party office of the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Socialist) at Aloknagar on Monday. Koirala, 87, passed away on Sunday and his body has been kept at the party office for paying last respects. He was also a CPN (Unified Socialist) politburo member.
House informed about arrest of RPP lawmaker Rana
The House today was informed about the arrest of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) lawmaker Dhawal Shumsher JB Rana on the charge of committing an offense against the State. In a meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) on Monday, Speaker Devraj Ghimire informed the parliament that the legislator was apprehended from Satdobato of Lalitpur. He presently remains in the police confinement for further investigation into the case, according to Ghimire.

No one found guilty in Tinkune violence to be spared: PM Oli
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that no one found guilty in the Tinkune incident will be let off. Myanmar junta blocks quake coverage as death toll jumps to 1,700
The military junta has barred international journalists from accessing areas devastated by the 7.7-magnitude earthquake that struck central Myanmar on March 28, creating an information blackout. “It is not possible for [foreign journalists] to come, stay, find shelter, or move around here.
