Two children drown while swimming, community in sorrow
Seven-year-old Ritik Chaudhary and eight-year-old Abinash Sadaya had gone swimming around noon on Tuesday in the nearby Balan stream without the knowledge of anyone in their house. They unfortunately died by drowning while swimming. There is a Musahar, Tharu and Pahade Dalit settlement on the riverbank of the Balan stream.

Dumre-Indrawati road section disrupted
The Dumre-Indrawati road section of the Bhanu Highway has been disrupted as the overnight incessant rainfall on Wednesday washed away the culvert. The flood of the Khatri rivulet at Tuhurepasal, Bhanu Municipality-6, Tanahun, completely damaged the culvert thereby disrupting the road section.
Cantilever bridge into operation after repair
