No one has freepass to disrupt social harmony:PM Prachanda

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, June 20: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ said that the government is committed to taking any control measures to control activities that spread social and religious dis-harmony and spread communalism.  

In his replies to queries from lawmaker Jaweda Khatun Jaga in a session of the House of Representatives (HoR) today, he clarified that action according to the existing laws will be taken against those individual or groups that tries to spread communalism in the name of religion. 

PM Prachanda said that the government is conducting the discussion program at the center and provincial level to increase social and religious harmony through the Ministry of Home Affairs and its subordinate local administrations. 

PM Prachanda said, “The government is committed to protecting and promoting the unity among diversity, social cultural solidarity, tolerance and harmony among diversity by assimilating the multi-cultural, multi-racial, multi-lingual, multi-religious, and geographically diverse characteristics.”
