Passport delivery service reaches homes in Jumla

Jumla, May 23: The District Administration Office Jumla has started delivering passport to the homes of service recipients through postal offices.     

According to Nar Bahadur Budha, Chief of the Passport Section at the District Administration Office Jumla, a total of 149 passports have so far been delivered to the homes of service recipients across all eight local level units in the district.     

As per the agreement between the District Administration Office and the Jumla Postal Office to deliver passports to service recipients, 61 passports were delivered to homes on May 7. Similarly, 19 passports were delivered on May 11 and 25 on May 19.     

Chief District Officer Deepak Paudel shared that passports are being provided to the doorsteps of service seekers for the first time in the district under the 100-day government reform action plan approved by the incumbent government.     

Arrangements have been put in place to deliver passport to the home through the District Postal Office.(RSS)
