21 gamblers held from Lalitpur

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Apr. 3: Police have arrested 21 gamblers from Changathali of Mahalaxmi Municipality-7, Lalitpur. The gambling was taking place at Green City Villa, run by 32-year-old Deepak Bohara, originally from Sindhupalchok.

According to SSP Hobindra Bogati, Chief of Lalitpur District Police Range, Rs. 907,000 in cash was seized from the gambling den.

Investigations revealed that the second floor of Green City Villa had been booked by Mohan Krishna Shahi to host the card games. 

The suspects arrested from the gambling den on Wednesday night are currently under investigation by the police.
