Nepathya to hold concerts in Canada

By A Staff Reporter, Kathmandu, Apr. 2: Nepali folk-rock band Nepathya is all set to embark on a series of concerts across Canada, with performances scheduled in Sudbury, Toronto, and London (Ontario).

 According to a press release issued by Nepalaya, the band’s first show will take place in Sudbury on April 10, followed by Toronto on April 13.

The final concert of the tour is scheduled for April 18 in London.

Nepathya previously toured Canada three years ago, performing in Calgary, Vancouver, and Toronto. This time, all three concerts will be held in Ontario province.

A 14-member team is scheduled to depart for Canada on  April 4 and remain there until April 20.

For the three Canadian performances, Amrit Gurung, the lead singer of the band, will be joined by the band’s regular line-up Dhruva Lama on drums, Subin Shakya on bass guitar, Niraj Gurung on guitar, Shanti Rayamajhi on madal, and Dinesh Raj Regmi on keyboards.
