Farmers take out rally demanding control in monkey menace

Farmers in Khotang district have hit the street with their agricultural tools
demanding with the government to take initiative to control monkey menace.
The farmers took out a rally carrying tools such as plough, yoke, hoe
and spade in Diktel bazaar, Khotang district headquarters on Monday.
The rally was organized to draw government attention to the plight of farmers due to increasing number of monkeys and their destruction of crops around the time of harvest.
