By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Mar. 27: The shooting of the film Behuli has begun after performing auspicious rituals at the Karyabinayak Temple in Lalitpur on Thursday.
Produced under the banners of Divine Music and Samman Entertainment, the film’s shooting schedule and release date were also announced during the ceremony.
According to producer Arjun Pokharel, shooting will commence this week, and the film is set to release on Bhadra 12 next year, coinciding with the festival of Hartalika Teej.
Renowned composer Arjun Pokharel, who has delivered numerous hit songs in Nepali modern and film music over the years, is making his debut as a film producer with Behuli.
He has also composed the music for the film, making this a significant new chapter in his cinematic journey.
The film is produced by Pratap Rana and directed by Sashan Kandel, with the story written by Madhav Sharma. Both Kandel and Sharma previously collaborated as director and writer on the film Hostel 3, and their strong partnership continues in Behuli.
Paras Bam Thakuri, who debuted in Hostel 3, will play the lead role, starring opposite actress Divya Rayamajhi.
The film’s executive producer is Suman Thing Tamang, with co-producers Durga Kharel and Ramesh Silwal. Shankar Koirala serves as the creative producer. Cinematography (DOP) is handled by Narendra Mainali, editing by Bikash Dahal, and action direction by Roshan Shrestha.
