Budhathoki also informed that various individuals and organisations are supporting the construction of the theatre. He has appealed for further cooperation from the local community, government and non-government agencies, businesspersons, and expatriate Nepalis to ensure the project's success.
“Pahal Theatreer is not just a building; it is the foundation of our shared dream, identity, and cultural future,” said Budhathoki. “Its construction is possible through the collective efforts and contributions of all of us.”
This project, based on public participation and collective effort, aims to develop Dang into an important cultural center in the long term.
The Pahal Theatre is expected to provide a permanent platform for local artists to showcase their work and inspire a new generation to engage in drama, music, film, and other creative fields.
Budhathoki added that there are plans to expand it into a community cinema, cultural study center, art training center, and a multi-purpose cultural complex in the future.
