Shooting of Zero Degree begins

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Mar. 16: Shooting of Zero Degree has officially begun with an auspicious ceremony at the Armala Kot Temple in Pokhara.

The first shot of this dark comedy film, which is being produced under the banner of Meghauli Films, featured veteran actor Prakash Ghimire, actor Bijay Baral, writer and actor Rajan Bhusal, and Sharda Silwal.

The production team informed that the entire shooting of the film will take place in the scenic and traditional settlements of Armalakot and Dhital villages in Kaski district. The shooting schedule has been set for 35 days.

The story of the film revolves around the upheaval and humorous situations that arise when a deep freezer is carried up to a remote village where road access has not reached to preserve a dead body until the children living abroad return to perform the funeral rites of their parents.

The film is jointly directed and written by Aakash Baral and Sajan Kafle.

 Even before the shooting, the satirical song ‘Are Ho Netaji’ from the film had been released.

Alongside actors Bijay Baral, Sanisha Bhattarai, senior actress Basundhara Bhusal and Ramesh Budhathoki will also appear on screen.

 In addition, actors including Prakash Ghimire, Lokendra Lekhak, Rajan Bhusal, Sanjog Rasaili, Sharda Silwal, Sabina Thapa Chhetri, Ram Babu Regmi, and others will be seen.

Moti Karki is the executive producer of the film, while Nishal Paudel is handling cinematography.
