Attariya (Kailali), March 7: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP)'s candidate Ananda Bahadur Chand has been elected from Kailali constituency no 5 in the House of Representatives election.
According to Bhuwan Singh Thapa, Chief Returning Officer, Chand emerged victorious with 31,953 votes. He defeated Narnarayan Shah of the Nepali Congress, who received 11,958 votes.
Likewise, Prem Bahadur Ale of the Nepali Communist Party got 7,876 votes followed by 5,839 votes of Yagyaraj Dhungana from the CPN (UML).
Out of 110,539 registered voters, 65,752 voters cast their ballots in the March 5 election. (RSS)
