By Bom Lal Giri, Nawalpur, Jan 4: Two people have been injured in rhinoceros attacks in Nawalpur over the past two days. The rhinoceros attacked two individuals on consecutive days, Tuesday and Wednesday.
According to the District Police Office, a three-year-old boy, Shivansh Regmi of Brahmasthan, Madhyabindu Municipality–3, was injured this morning at around 6 AM after being attacked while playing in front of his house.
Police Inspector Bir Bahadur Gurung, the information officer at the District Police Office, said the injured child is currently receiving treatment at Madhyabindu Provincial Hospital in Danda.
Earlier, on Tuesday, a 40-year-old, Hem Bahadur Kumal of Amaltari, Kawasoti Municipality–17, was attacked by a rhinoceros while cutting grass in front of his house.
Inspector Gurung said that Kumal, who was injured in the attack, is also undergoing treatment at Madhyabindu Hospital.
