By Siraj Khan, Nepalgunj, Jan 27: The security management for the election of House of Representatives (HoR) of Banke district is getting tightened.
The Chairperson of District Security Committee Chief District Officer, Dil Bahadur Tamang, informed that out of the 139 polling stations of the district, 61 sites are classified as most sensitive, 50 sites classified as sensitive and 28 sites as normal sites.
The Election Office Banke informed that 400 polling centres are establish in 139 polling stations.
Superintendent of Police of district police office Banke, Angu GC, said that the security management will be tightened to ensure free, fair and impartial election environment.
He said that integrated team of Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and Nepal Army will be mobilized for the election.
He also said that Nepal Police and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) of India will conduct joint patrolling in the India-Nepal border throughout election period.
Chief of District Election Office, Banke, Tek Bahadur Sahai, said that the number of voters in the Banke district was 350,371.
