By Siraj Khan, Nepalgunj, 27 Jan: The security management for the election of House of Representatives of Banke district are tightening.
The Chairperson of District Security Committee Chief District Officer Dil Bahadur Tamang has informed that out of the 139 polling stations of the district, 61 sites are classified in most sensitive, 50 sites classified as sensitive and 28 sites are classified as normal sites.
The Election Office Banke has informed that 400 polling centres are establish in 139 polling stations.
Superintendent of Police of district police office Banke, Angu GC has informed that the security management will be tightened to ensure free, fair and fearless election environment.
He said that integrated team of Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and Nepal Army will be mobilized for the election.
He also said that Nepal Police and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) of India will conduct joint patrolling in the India-Nepal border throughout election period.
Chief of District Election Office, Banke, Tek Bahadur Sahai has informed that voters in the banke district reached 3,50,371.
