Husband arrested for alleged homicide of wife

By Nirajan Pariyar, Kailali, Jan 26: A woman died in Kailali after being assaulted by her husband.

According to police, Sating Dahal, originally from Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City–8 and currently living in a rented room in Rajpur, Dhangadhi–13, seriously injured his 30-year-old wife, Hira Dahal, during a domestic dispute on Monday.

The injured woman was taken to Seti Provincial Hospital in Dhangadhi for treatment, where she died during the course of treatment, police said.

Following his wife’s death, her husband, Sating Dahal, has been arrested by a team from the District Police Office. 

Police said that he has been taken into custody and further investigation is underway.
