Thakur, Jha. Paswan and Karna elected NA members from Madhes
By Dharbendra Jha, Janakpurdham, Jan 25: Candidates of the coalition of the Nepali Congress, CPN (UML) and Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal have been elected as National Assembly (NA) members from Madhesh province in the election held today.
The election was held for four members from the province.
JSP’s Mahanth Thakur under open category, UML’s Rekha Jha under women category, NC’s Dharmendra Pasawan under dalit category and Ranjit Karna under minority/disable category have been elected.
Their nearest rivals were the candidates from the Nepali Communist Party (NCP).
