Less people apply for election police than number of vacancy in Taplejung

By Chandra Pandak, Taplejung, Jan 16: Less people have applied for election police than the vacancy announced for in Taplejung district.

Application period was set from last Friday to Thursday of the election police for the election to the House of Representatives to be held on March 5.

Applications are being received at the district police office and No. 1 division headquarters of Armed Police Force.

Jatashankar Yadav, police inspector and information officer of the Taplejung district police office, said that only 810 people applied for the post while the vacancy was announced for 892 election police personnel.

The deadline for application has been extended by two days due less number of applicants than the vacancy announced.
