Chitwan, Jan 16: Coordinator of the Nepali Communist Party (NCP) and former Prime Minister, Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', has confirmed that the House of Representatives election set for March 5 will take place as scheduled.
While inaugurating the new administrative building of Bharatpur Metropolitan City today, Coordinator Prachanda emphasized that elections are essential.

In a different context, Coordinator Prachanda noted that following the special general convention of the Nepali Congress, public speculation regarding the elections has increased. He stated, “A significant split within a major party is concerning. It is not encouraging news. However, this will not affect the elections.”
Former Prime Minister Prachanda also highlighted that the all-side development initiatives undertaken by Bharatpur Metropolitan City have enabled it to serve as a model for the nation.
