Kathmandu, Jan 6: The fire that broke out at a warehouse in Gairigaon, Sinamangal has been brought under control.
Spokesperson at District Police Range in Kathmandu, Pavan Kumar Bhattarai, informed that the fire that broke out at 3:15 pm in a timber depot was extinguished at 4:45pm.
The timber used for a cargo run by Ishwor Karki caught the fire that perished the depot. Even an adjacent building of Loyala Secondary School suffered damages in the inferno.
The locals and security persons worked in tandem along with fire engines to douse the flame, Spokesperson Bhattarai added.
