ICC trophy tour in Nepal on Jan 5-7

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec 31: The trophy tour of the ICC T20 World Cup is being held in Nepal for three days from January 5 to 7.

The ICC T20 is being held in India and Sri Lanka from February 7 to March 8.

The schedule and route of the trophy tour is yet to be made public, said Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN).

ICC included Nepal in trophy tour of the World Cup, once in two years sports event.

The tour will also be held in India, Sri Lanka, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain and Mongolia.

Nepal is playing T20 World Cup for the third time. Nepal is placed in the C group in which are countries such as West Indies, England, Bangladesh and Italy.

Nepal will be playing against England and Italy for the first time. Nepal will play all of the group games in Mumbai, India.

20 team selected for ICC World Cup are divided into four groups.
