NVA Cup Championship: Tribhuvan Army and APF Club secure second win

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec 28: Departmental teams of the Tribhuvan Army Club and Nepal APF Club have secured the second win in both the men and women club championship in the ongoing Nepal Volleyball Association (NVA) Cup Championship.

With the win, both the clubs have made stronger their possibility to reach the semifinal.

In the match held today at the covered hall of the National Sports Council, the Army club defeated the Chuli Youth Club in a straight set of 3-0, with the Army securing 25-16, 25-12 and 25-09 win against the Chuli.

Earlier, the Army had got victory over Everest Volleyball Club in the first match.

Similarly, APF defeated Sudurpaschim Province Sports Council in 3-0 set, with the APF securing 25-06, 25-11 and 25-12 win against the Sudurpaschim.

Earlier, the APF had got victory over Madhes Province Sports Council in similar 3-0 set.
