The Ministry of Health and Population, National Health Education, Information and Communication Center, has warned that unpleasant incidents can occur if sufficient precautions are not taken when lighting a fire, heater, or using a geyser to keep the body or room warm in winter.

Ministry asked to adopt caution because of the negation on health when using a heater in winter.

The center has urged people to light fires, use heaters, or use geysers only in well-ventilated areas or rooms. The center has requested that people avoid using coal-based sources as much as possible.

It has been requested not to keep flammable materials such as paper and cloth nearby when fire basing or using heater, and to completely shut it after its use.

The center recommends turning off the heater from time to time when using it, connecting the main machine of the geyser to an open area outside the bathroom, and not staying in the bathroom for a long time with the geyser turned on.
