Kathmandu, Dec 17: Nepal has posted a victory target of 125 runs for Afghanistan in the match held today under the ACC U-19 Asia Cup cricket tournament. In the tournament underway in Dubai of the United Arab Emirates, Nepal was put into bat first after it lost the toss. It was bowled out for 124 runs in 46.4 overs.
Dilsad Ali was Nepal’s top scorer with 32 runs, while Chandan Ram added 27 and Abhishek Tiwari contributed 20. The remaining batsmen failed to deliver effectively.
For Afghanistan, Zaitullah Shaheen alone took three wickets followed by two each from Abdul Aziz, Nooristani Omarzai and Wahidullah Zadran. (RSS)
