Talks between government and Campaign for Protection of Citizens positive

Kathmandu, Dec 16: Talks between the government-formed talks team and representatives of the Campaign for Protection of Nation, Nationality, Religion, Culture and Citizens have been concluded in a cordial atmosphere.     

Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagdish Kharel, who is also the government spokesperson, shared that the talks held at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology this evening were fruitful. “Positive talks have been held between the government and the Campaign. An initial understanding has been reached to continue the dialogue and address concerns through internal homework.”     

Campaign representative Premdeep Limbu said that the talks were held in a positive and cordial atmosphere. He shared that there was an agreement to move forward by resolving the demands raised by the campaign through phase-wise talks and dialogue after doing internal homework.     

Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagadish Kharel, Chief Advisor to the Prime Minister Ajaya Bhadra Khanal, Public Relations Advisor Govinda Narayan Timilsina represented the government in the dialogue. Likewise, Premdip Limbu, Devi Prasad Sangraula and Prem Thapa Magar participated in the talks on behalf of the Campaign.     

Advocates Binod Mani Bhattarai and Lawan Neupane facilitated the talks, according to the Secretariat of the Minister of Communications.(RSS)
