Co-driver found dead in bus in Saptari

By Binay Karn, Kalyanpur (Saptari), Dec 16: A co-driver died inside a bus in Saptari district. 55-year-old Bishwanath Prasad Dev, of Rajbiraj Municipality-15, was found dead inside the bus ( Province 1-02-002 Kha 0659).

Police said that he was the co-driver of the same bus. The bus, which was travelling from Rajbiraj to Butwal-Bhairahawa, had reached Sinha Garage in Rajbiraj-8 to get its tires repaired.

Spokesperson of the District Police Office, Saptarai, DSP Dambar Bahadur Puri said that Dev was found unconscious near the front door.

He was found unconscious on Monday evening and was brought to Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital (GNSH) for treatment.

The doctors declared him dead at the hospital, according to the District Police Office, Saptari.

DSP Puri said that the body of the deceased has been kept at the hospital for postmortem, and further investigation is underway in this matter.
