Body recovered on Madi riverbank

By Amar Raj Naharki, Tanahun,  Dec 15: The abandoned body of a woman has been found on the banks of the Madi River in Upper Patan, Vyas Municipality-5, Tanahun district.

According to the District Police Office, Tanahun, the body was found floating in the river on Sunday.

The identity of the deceased woman has not been ascertained. 

According to Information Officer and Deputy Superintendent of Police Shravan Kumar BK, the age of the deceased woman is estimated to be around 40 years. 

A police team reached the spot as soon as the locals informed about the incident.

A police team led by Police Inspector Shiva Prasad Pathak has carried out the necessary investigation into the incident.
