Woman injured while fire basking in Saptari
By Binay Karna, Kalyanpur (Saptari),Dec 15: A woman has sustained grave injuries while fire basking at the Tilathi Koiladi Rural Municipality of Saptrai district.
28-year-old Amrita Kumari Mandal of Mithila tole, of Tilathi Koiladi-2, sustained major injuries when her saree suddenly caught fire while she was fire basking in her cowshed on Monday night.
Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Saptari, Dambar Bahadur Puri, said that 40 percent of her body was burnt in the fire.
She is undergoing treatment at the B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan.
