Sindhuli, Dec 15: Joint Coordinator of the Nepali Communist Party (NCP), Madhav Kumar Nepal, has said government needs holding frequent and intense dialogues with political parties
for holding the upcoming election on the slated date. At a press meet organized by the Press Centre Nepal at Sindhulimadhi this morning, joint coordinator and former Prime Minister Nepal viewed his party was for election, but the government and other political parties were not holding serious discussions for it.
"It is not clear whether government has prepared environment for election. However, it would be a stretch to say that the government has frustrated the atmosphere either," he said, underscoring the need of additional dialogues for the election.
According to him, although the Gen Z movement has created a narrative that people are against the political parties with legacy, the recent political developments and events have questioned this narrative.
NCP leader Nepal asserted, "Nepali citizens have not shunned faith in politics." The former Prime Minister stressed the need for intensifying the preparation for the election. (RSS)
