Sudur Paschim elects to bat first against Lumbini Lions

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec 13: Sudur Paschim has opted to bat first against the Lumbini Lions in the grand finale of the second edition of the NPL, which is being played at the TU cricket ground.

Captain Dipendra Singh Airee of Sudur won the toss and decided to bat first.

Sudur Paschim reached the final by defeating Biratnagar by 77 runs in the first qualifier, while Lumbini reached the final by defeating Biratnagar by 40 runs in the second qualifier.

Sudur Paschim was the first runner in the first edition of NPl, while Lumbini Lions did not make it to the playoffs. 

The captain of Sudurpaschim is Dipendra Singh Airee, while the captain of Lumbini is Rohit Kumar Paudel.
