NPL: Biratnagar Kings wins toss, bowling against Sudurpaschim Royals

Kathmandu, Dec 6: Sudurpaschim Royals and Biratnagar Kings are vying in today’s first match of the ongoing second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Stadium in Kirtipur. Biratnagar won the toss and elected to bowl first.

Sudurpaschim remains undefeated in six matches, collecting 12 points and securing a spot in the first qualifier.  Biratnagar, already assured of a playoff berth with eight points, needs a win today to advance to the first qualifier.

If Biratnagar wins with a strong run rate, it will meet Sudurpaschim in Qualifier 1; otherwise, it will play the Eliminator against the Lumbini Lions.

Following this match, Sudurpaschim will face the Kathmandu Gorkhas in the first qualifier. Later today, at 3:30pm, Chitwan Rhinos and Pokhara Avengers will compete in the next fixture.(RSS)
