Gandaki Province Assembly meeting today

 Gandaki, Nov 10: A meeting of the Gandaki Province Assembly has been scheduled at the meeting hall of Ministry of Agriculture, Land Management and Cooperatives at 1:00 pm today.

Chief Minister Surendra Raj Pandey is scheduled to brief the Province Assembly about the losses caused during September 8-9 Gen Z protest, said Province Assembly Secretary, Govinda Poudel. 

He shared that the meeting had a possible agenda to hold clause-wise discussion on the Marijuana Cultivation Bill and the Mines and Minerals Bill and pass these.  

Though the meeting was called at the same place for October 8, it was put off at the last hour citing lack of enough preparation. The PA meeting was held on September 1 last time.  

The Gandaki Province Assembly would carry out its activities from temporary structures until completion of its new building. The construction of new building of the Province Assembly has recently begun, according to the PA Secretariat. (RSS)
