Former Minister of State of Bagmati Province Jonche passes away

By Rammani Dahal, Makwanpur, Nov.4: Former Minister of State for Bagmati Province, Rajni Amatya Jonche, has passed away this morning.

Minister for Culture and Tourism Suresh Shrestha said that the former Minister of State Jonche passed away on Tuesday morning while undergoing treatment at the Madhyapur Thimi Hospital.

According to Minister Shrestha, Jonche's last rites will be performed on Tuesday at Hanuman Ghat in Bhaktapur.

Jonchhe became the Minister of State for Industry, Commerce, and Supplies of the Bagmati Provincial  Government in December 2021 under the Rajendra Prasad Pandey-led government.

She was the wife of martyr Radheshyam John.

Jonchhe had been unwell for some time.

 Minister Shrestha said that her death has caused irreparable loss to both the Congress and the democratic movement.

Leader Jonche had been active in the political, social, and human rights sectors for a long time.

The mortal remains of the late Jonche have been kept at the Radheshyam Memorial Foundation Office, Chundevi, Bhaktapur for tributes. 

Jonche has three sons.
