Traffic to remain one-way in Daunne area for two months

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Nov 3: Vehicular mobility in Daunne area along Butwal-Naryanghat road section of East-West Highway will remain one way for about two months, till 30 December.

Project Directorate (ADB and others) under the Department of Roads today issued a notice to this effect stating that the road section will remain on-way for culvert construction as recent rains have made the under-construction road quite slippery and created difficulty for vehicles and that if it rains again the situation will be tough for travelers.

The Directorate has urged all to take updated information about the condition of road section in Daunne before traveling through or take an alternative route.
