By Bomlal Giri, Nawalpur, Nov.3: District Police Office, Nawalpur, has requested commuters to use the alternative route to Daunne in line with the persistent disruption of the Daunne section of the East-West Highway.
Police urged people to avoid traveling on this route and use alternative roads, citing problems with traffic due to slippery, steep roads and gridlock of vehicles at various places along the 14-kilometer stretch of Daunne.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Madhu Nepal, Information Officer at the District Police Office, said that traffic has been difficult in Daunne for the past five days.
Nepal has also urged people to coordinate with the District Police Office, District Traffic Police Office, and Area Police Office, Dumkibas, while traveling.
He said that there is a heavy traffic jam due to the difficult road conditions.
