Foreign national injured in yak attack

A foreign national sustained injuries when a grazing yak attacked him in Phaktanglung rural municipality-6, Taplejung district.

According to the police, Christian had come to Taplejung to visit the Kanchenjunga region.  He is currently undergoing treatment at the health post in Ghunsa.

Police said that preparations are being made to fly him out for further treatment. The helicopter will arrive today.
