Vehicles carrying waste start plying to Bancharedanda landfill site

Kathmandu, Nov 2: Vehicles carrying garbage have started plying towards Bancharedanda landfill site today after commitment of Minister for Urban Development, Kulman Ghising to address the demands of the agitating locals. 

The locals had obstructed the garbage-carrying vehicles to enter the Bancharedanda landfill site for the past four days. 

Minister Ghising today reached the Bancharedanda landfill site and expressed commitment to implement the past agreements, shared Minister Ghising's Secretariat. 

The locals had obstructed the garbage-carrying vehicles from entering the landfill site with an objective of exerting pressure for the implementation of the agreements signed with local government time and again. (RSS)
